Consultations
The Montville Veterinary Clinic operates as a branch practice to the Sunshine Hinterland Veterinary Clinic in Nambour. This means that it is only operated part time and consultations appointments are generally made between 8.00 and 8.35 AM and after 6pm weekdays. For urgent attention between these hours we can see your pet at our Nambour clinic. Weekend consultations can also be arranged by prior arrangement.
After Hours Emergencies
We understand thatyour pet will occasionally require veterinary attention outside of normal clinic hours. There are 2 dedicated veterinary emergency centres at Tanawha and most vets on the coast refer their after hours cases there. At Montville Veterinary Clinic we continue to provide an after hours emergency service. Out of hours charges apply. In some cases after a discussion on the phone indicates that we may no be able to provide the level of care required we will advise referral to the dedicated Emergency Centre.For Emergency After Hours Service Call 54457666.
Surgery
Due to it's part time status we do not perform routine surgical prodedures at Montville Veterinary Clinic. We can provide surgical services to Range residents' pets at our Nambour clinic. Small dogs and cats can be dropped off at the Montville Clinic in the morning and will be transported to Nambour for surgery and back in the afternoon if required. Larger dogs require pet owners to drop off and pick up at Nambour.Despite the above, the Montville Veterinary Clinic is equipped with full anaesthetic and surgical equipment so we can perform after hours prodedures such as wound repair if required.
Counter Sales
At Montville Veterinary Clinic we keep a range of flea and tick preventatives such as Nexgard® and Bravecto® . Many other pet care products as well as Hills, Royal Canin and Eukanuba foods can be made available at the Montville Clinic by order. Please give us a call to discuss your requirements.
